During my recent city break at Il Ghebo, I was pleasantly surprised by the warm atmosphere that greeted us. The cozy rooms were well-equipped-with a clean and functional private bathroom-perfect for a mountaineer looking for comfort after a day of exploring. The breakfast buffet was a highlight, featuring a delightful mix of sweet and savory options served by a friendly Italian host, who made us feel right at home. Proximity to the Punta Sabbioni Ferry Station made it incredibly easy to hop over to Venice for day trips, all while enjoying a more peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle. With its charming garden and the bonus of free bike rentals, Il Ghebo proved to be an ideal spot for both relaxation and adventure, catering perfectly to my love for nature and eco-friendly travel. It was an excellent choice for anyone wanting to discover Venice while staying in a welcoming, budget-friendly accommodation.
